It is a tradition that vampires have "regalia", or clothing that they wear. This has greatly been influenced by books and other forms of media over the centuries. This "regalia" usually includes the "typical" black cape or shroud of a vampire. This "regalia" is usually worn only for special holidays, such as Halloween/Samhain, weddings or Deathday. (The Deathday is the day a mortal has chosen to become a vampire. A large party is sometimes thrown to celebrate their death.)
